In 1973 Fahmy Furniture opened a small store in Muscat. Today the same family furnishes homes, offices and hotels across Oman, and makes much of it in its own factories.

Sh. Said bin Saleh Al Hinai opened Fahmy Furniture as a small retail store in Ruwi in 1973. More than fifty years on, the family still runs it, and the shop has grown into a group with its own factories in Rusayl.
We make mattresses under the Raha name, steel furniture under Hadid, and wooden furniture, joinery and kitchens in our own workshops. What we do not make, we source from more than 60 international brands.
That is why one team can furnish a single bedroom or fit out an entire headquarters, and why the people who sell you a piece are the same people you call after delivery.

At the helm of Fahmy Furniture since 1973, his vision has guided the company from a small Ruwi retail store to a leading provider of quality furniture for homes and offices across Oman. A champion of craftsmanship, sustainability and community, his inclusive leadership continues to drive the group's growth while upholding its core values.
Our late Executive Director elevated the organisation to greater levels of professionalism and ethics, founding numerous business divisions within the group. His visionary approach transformed Fahmy Furniture from a local business into a renowned name, and his legacy of integrity and excellence continues to inspire everything we do.
Oversees the implementation of key group initiatives and manages international trade relationships, playing a central role in strategic decision-making. Formerly Honorary Consul of Ethiopia to Oman, he helped develop Oman-Ethiopia relations and led the Omani products exhibition OPEX in Addis Ababa.
Leads the Fahmy showroom and the customer experience behind it. His team gives expert product advice, design consultations and after-sales support, so every customer is looked after from first visit to final delivery.
Leads corporate sales and contracting, furnishing and equipping businesses across Oman. He works closely with corporate clients on tailored solutions, delivered to quality, on budget and on programme.
Because design, manufacturing, supply and installation all live under one roof, nothing is lost between stages, and quality is controlled end to end.

Our Rusayl factory is fitted with state-of-the-art equipment for consistent, timely production: CNC multi-drilling, board cutting, paint lines, edge-banding, multi-bending and CO₂ welding. A 7,000 m² facility run by skilled engineers, operators and craftsmen using computerised technology for precision-built products at any scale.
Our aim is to diversify Oman's economy, localising more goods and services, creating employment for Omani nationals in the private sector, and building local capability across the furniture industry.
